Default Huge problems please help

Hey there,

I have just gotten my car up to stage 4.

VF34 pinks, UTEC, full exhaust FMIC.

Now when my car hits boost, it seems to choke itself out... stutters like crazy.

I was under the impression it was the MAF, however i tested that and its working just fine. A friend who is a mechanic insists its the fuel management system (UTEC). I think i might have the older version of the utec on my 05, would that cause these issues? is there a fix to it?

One more thing...

I bought the utec from EBAY, how does one check what version it is??

We just unhooked the UTEC, and the car now runs on the stock ECU a LOT better. i guess it is not the MAF sensor. What would cause the car to cut out the way it does?

did you have the car tuned after you made your car stage 4? Sounds like it needs to be tuned.

It sounds like you may be running the wrong parameters on your UTEC. Stages 1-3 use the same parameters, but stage 4 requires different ones. When you switched your car to stage 4, did you upload the stage 4 parameters from TurboXS to your UTEC?

Then how the ___ did you expect to install and run a UTEC?

I recommend downloading the TXS manual and reading it a few times. All of your questions will undoubtedly be answered.

+ infinity! Yikes! It is very important to RTFM, especially with a UTEC.
