Question UTEC or Cobb AP for mods listed

I have tried to search but as usual what i am searching for doesnt really answer my questions. The question is which OTS and which Tuned product would be better for my mods. I am not sure about the best OTS, but i would think that tuned it would not matter between AP or UTEC. I would think that if i stay with OTS maps then UTEC may be better.

Mods that matter: UP/TBE/Lightned Pullies/Ebay TM
Possible, but not for a while, future would be Deadbolt turbo.

Who would do your tuning? What do they use? What tuners are in your area? Do you have a laptop? I think these questions are more important to ask at this stage of the game. Both basemaps will give approximately the same power, both tuned maps will give approximately the same power (if tuned competently). The real question for you is which system are you more comfortable with?

If i got a Cobb, i would most likely go to Agile Auto in MD. If i went with UTEC, then i would try and go to Chad Block, up the street from me. I guess it sounds like which ever one i may be able to find for cheaper.

The next question is would a Cobb OTS map be okay with larger TM, pullies, and intake. I am pretty sure that the UTEC would not have any problems.

you pretty much need to follow all cobbs instructions for an OTS map. You have to use there intake and i think you can use one other brand. The OTS cobb map stg 2 only wants you to have full TBE, anything else is not recommended.

I'd personally go with the AP + custom tune (or an "email map" from PDX).

IMHO, reflash > piggyback

Doesnt really matter....doesnt really matter if your going to have it tuned. The intake isnt gonna be great for either but esp. not the Cobb. I doubt either will have a good OTS map for the TM. Just pick your poison and get it tuned. I guess price shopping would be a good idea for ya

TurboXS is not really really far from you either...they deal with UTEC....
