Default Boost guage source help QUICK!

I'm installing my boost guage (still NA right now) and am wondering where I tap into for the boost source. I have an AT which means I have a pressure sylnoid. Would that work?
Thanks,
Mike

Look on the back of your intake manifold kinda over from the throttle body. You'll see some small plugs there. That's where I tapped in and it's a great source. You could always "T" into a line but it looks a little tacky.

I would tap where the directions say to tap the subaru oem boost gauges.. see www.subaruparts.com and click the link on install instructions.. That is where I tapped mine.

GTR, Thanks for the compliments. Too bad my site is down until next friday

Oh well... I'll try to get a picture of it tomarrow. Right now I'm redoing the exhaust so it's at a friends house. I'll just post the picture here... with the turbo and intercooler out it will actually make for a more clear pic and be a little more helpful for you.

Here's a picture of my Boost guage tap and also the oil feed line. You'll also notice I accidentally kinked the boost line which is VERY easy to do.

Sorry it took so long to finally post this, I got home a little late last night after fabing a new up and down pipe.

I assume the oil feed is the big hose with the T in it?
never mind I see it-didn't think that looked like an oil line.

It's the #3 (or 4) steel braided line with the red and blue army/navy fitting on it. The boost gauge is the gold tap in the intake with the clear (and kinked) line coming out of it.
