I believe you'll have to weld new hangers on and extend the length at minimum.

ok theres a classified for Sti axle back for pick up and its for 125$ obo...and i dont want a LOUD exhaust. i was wondering if it would be worth picking it up and custom welding. OR...pick up magnaflow 2.25 inlet for $60 and welding it? any suggestions and opinions? thanks.

custom magnaflow is the cheaper option.

welding and fabrication are costly... like $200+/-
I had a 05 wrx cat back on my 1998 legacy gt.. but i had an MRT header so it was more worth the trouble then buying a new mrt cat back...
the sti cat back sounds great and flows well too... its a hard choice, but if money is an issue... then the magnaflow could be cheaper.
