well like i said earlier, i've got 225/50/16 tires on my forester rims, which are only 16X6.5, so yeah those tires will fit on your rims. as to whether or not the combo will fit on your car with no rubbing, that's a different matter!

225's on 6.5's? I thought I was pushing it a bit with 225's on 7's. How's the ballooning on that?

actually my tires don't balloon out at all.
