Question Passenger Seat Clicks When Braking or Accelerating

Has anyone ever experienced this? It only happens when someone is in the seat (increasing the momentum)... When I accelerate or brake, the seat slides/clicks slightly (one click or so) as if the teeth or gears aren't catching perfectly. I'm not familiar with the mechanics of it but I thought I would ask on here if this has happened to anyone. I'm wondering if there is a way to adjust it or if I am stuck trying to buy a new seat. Please help.

Thanks!

There's probably a spring that keeps the teeth/gears connected (i.e. returns the adjusting lever back after you let go). I had to replace one in my buddy's Jeep recently (his was just gone)... Maybe you've got a similar deal?

Also, make sure everything is bolted down tight, says obvious guy.
