Wink

Bean try Shox.com I purchased mine from them for 299.00 plus shipping. I have them on the ugly duckling and they work great. They also will beat any other price you might find. Tell them you belong to the club and that I sent you so they know word of mouth works. Good luck.

you can get them at Summit Racing for 69.95 each.. or roughly 280 for the set. the kybs were talkin about is the GR2 or just the gas non adjustable struts..

hey! I don't know about the GR2 - bet someone on the main board has them on an Impreza.... regardless...

the AGX adjustables are just that... adjustable.. you select the stiffness... for rally cross - auto cross - street - you can adjust it according to what you're doing on any given day... that is a nice plus for an extra $30 per strut!!!

my $.02

I'm running GR2's w/ stock springs on a 94 Legacy wgn.. From what I've read, these apparently are WRX spec units(Japanese Impreza part#) and are the same setting as 2-front, 4-rear AGX's. they have a lifetime warranty as opposed to 1 yr. warranty on AGX. Had no interest in lowering car any w/ stiffer springs since I get offroad quite a bit and prefer more ground clearance and compliant suspension. (one mans' steak is another mans' poison) The ride is more controlled and firmer than stock...,a nice upgrade from stock but perhaps not "the racers' edge"!

I would ask Mike Shields what his opinion on the AGX fit would be...

took a quick look at the front strut parts for a 90-91 vs the 92-94 in a parts manual, mostly looks the same except for the strut itself so there may be hope if you want the AGX's. I can send pages out of the manual if you want to research this...

BeAn,

hmmm, well my scanner is on the fritz after trying to use it for the first time in a month... There are probably a 1-2 dozen pages that cover just the struts. I'll let
you know if this works out.

took a little closer look at the 90-91 vs 92-94 strut differences since I got the pages scanned for BeAn:

- strut mount, hub, all the little bits
including the spring look to be the same between 90-91 & 92-94, just the struts
have completely different numbers on them...

so I'd confirm this with spdusa or someone else in the know, but it looks like the AGX's would prob fit...
