Not sure about local vendors...but I got my Cobb catted DP directly from Cobb. Actually, probably 90% of my car parts came from the U.S.

Worth the $ to install, I don't think so, but it's a matter of how much extra $ you have, I guess. The DP is a simple swap - you should find some help and tackle it yourself. The best part is the satisfaction of having learned about your car.

The Cobb maps take care of any sensors and shuts them off so they don't create CEL's

There are no deals on APs.

I don't think the Stg 2 will throw you back in your seat like you'd expect. However the AP is a great tool if you plan to run bigger mods in the future and aren't into tuning on your own.

p.s. I've been running Stg 2 for over a year on my STi.

Thumbs up

Well, I took the plunge and bought the AP (Stage 1) which will be here in 2-3 weeks…I did find that I saved about $70 by ordering it from RallyPartz in Edmonton then from Cobb US….Shipping was free...Stage 1 today, Stage 2 tomorrow! Thank you all for your inputs, I can now upgrade with confidence. I’m still a total newb when it comes to flashing/mapping my ECU, any inputs or personal assistance would be appreciated.

Tnx

Matt

Reflash is easy. I can help if you're unsure.. actually come by the mini-meet tomorrow, many people to help then!

Edit: just re-read your post = 2~3weeks. Well, anytime I can help you reflash if needed

I have read you will have boost creep to some degree on any trbo car that you put a higher flowing exhaust on. I have a full catless TBE on my 06 and havent seen an creep as of yet.
