I'll still be a Legacy guy at heart, but I have to say that this WRX wagon is a rockin' good car.
Fast, tight, great-looking, and hours of fun for the entire family. Even staying under 4K, the Rex is substantially faster than my '98 GT wagon. I'm impressed. Kevin

Glad to hear you like it... I surely do miss boost, especially since I sold my '93 Turbo. I'm going to hold out though.
Have fun, and keep us informed as you rack up the miles. ![]() |

You'll be missed, but at least you have not left the "Marque" - just moved within the "home" so to speak!
Have fun! Cheers. |

I was talking to my dealer who, unlike other dealers, doesn't deal in unsubstantiated hooraw just to keep people's interest in Subarus high. He said that SOA still has NO idea about what they're going to do with the Legacy line, but that they are gearing up a new plant for H-6 production. Hmmmmm.
I'm guessing that more Legacies, and perhaps an upmarket Forester will get that engine. He said they were still talking about the WRX engine for the Legacy GT, and had a good laugh when I brought up the 2.5L turbo engine rumor. Apparently there's not a manual box for the H-6, which means that were that engine to go into the GT... So much for stirring your own pot. Kevin |

Kewl. I woulda jumped if I had the money too, no sweat. $15,500 for a used GT fit the budget loads better than $24K though.....

it typically saves you about $10,000 to get a 3-4 year old used car.

We appreciate your kind comments regarding the introduction of our WRX models. We too are excited about this new direction of the Subaru product. There are no plans at this time to offer the Legacy B4 or a turbo Legacy in the United States. But, as you can see with the direction of Subaru, a turbo or more powerful Legacy might very well be in the future plans for Subaru. We have, however, not been notified of any future Legacy plans. Your suggestion will be forwarded to our Product Planning Department for their review and consideration. I do not have any posters to offer you. But, I do have some novelties that you might enjoy. Unfortunately, we do not have any featuring your Legacy GT Limited Sedan. You should be receiving these items in the mail in a few days. Thanks again and have a great weekend!! John J. Mergen Subaru of America, Inc. </FONT f>" sooo...how about that!?! them bastard wouldn't give me a poster damsit! I did get some kewl sticker tho! ![]() -chrisC |
