Default Anybody running Vogue Tourings?

I'm looking ahead to next winter already - I just can't help myself. Living in the mid-Atlantic area, I really don't need snow tires, but I do think A/S tires are a wise investment. This past winter I ran some BFG Traction T/A-H tires on my Volk TE-37s. They worked out pretty well, but I think I want to go with a little more style for next winter.

I was looking at running these:

(In case the link dies again, the info is here - http://www.voguetyre.com/products/ti...tID=0000000006).

Do you guys think they would look OK on bronze TE-37s? I'm afraid the gold stripe might clash with the bronze wheel. Then again, that might be worth it just based on reading what the website says:
Quote:
Marked by distinctive appearance, our whitewall and trademarked Gold Stripe will hypnotize and create fascination. Listen for the comments and know that your car has reached the Outer Limits of Luxury.
I mean, damn, I've always wanted to reach the Outer Limits of Luxury!!

Can anyone Photoshop the Vogue tires onto my car?

I'd hugely appreciate it!

Ok, locked and loaded. Just run outside and stand beside your car ok?

It won't hurt a bit, I swear!

Do you need a picture of me next to my car in order to do the Photoshop?

The only way those tires will look good is with gold plated Dayton wires, on a lowrider. If you put them on your Legacy, you don't deserve to drive it.

I wish I could afford gold plated Daytons, but that'll have to wait.

As for deserving to drive my car, who are you to say whether I do or not? If you don't like my style, if you're too afraid to strive for the Outer Limits of Luxury, that's not my problem!

Holy poop stain, he's serious - I thought this was a joke...we need a category of ricer - one who takes products destined for Cadillacs and Buicks and puts them on imports.

Tires are tires as far as I'm concerned. If they perform well and take my car to the Outer Limits of Luxury, I'm all for it. I'm not sure what you mean about Cadillacs and Buicks.

Outer limits of luxury? What luxury? It's a freaking Subaru. And a Legacy, at that. Vogues would make MANY people laugh at you, but it's your money, have at it.

Beware of thefting pimps who want your tires for their Cutlasses. Those tires belong on LUXURY cars owned by old geezers and drug dealers. Whats' next? A Rolls Royce hood ornament on a Kia Sephia? Anything to get to your "Outer Limits of Luxury".

Outer Limits of common sense and good taste, if you ask me - but you didn't.

Some of you should see this guy's dyno charts (N/A power) and watch him drive on the Auto-x course before you go judging him.

Seriously, if he wants to put the tires on, let him. As long as the tires are good, who cares what they look like?

And for that rolls royce ornament...I've seen a Jag ornament on a cavalier

OK, it's all good, but then I get to introduce my dyno chart and autocross times...

Sorry, but to post something like this in an import performance forum is crazy, and even crazier to expect not to get flack from people who think it's plain silly.

Pat, I knew you were good, but not this good.

I am in need of a mentorship so that I can one day leave the ranks of "Scooby Newbies."

I, too, want to reach the outer limits of luxury. Teach me, master.

Mark -

This photoshopped image has Patrick running an overly low profile tyre. You can't hardly see the whitewalls & the gold band on his tyres. Perhaps if you did an image of his Legacy with an "Outback" suspension and thicker sidewalls ? Thanks.
