Default WTB aftermarket exhaust for 06 STI

Hey people...

The STI didn't make it to 2 months in our possession of even 5000 miles yet and I've been bitten by the dreaded modding bug.

I got bored at like 4am, and decided that I wanted to hear the difference with removing the snorkus and silencer. I was impressed. Spool and "blow off" are much more pronounced and the car feels a bit faster. My butt dyno is pleased.

So, now I'm lookin for an exhaust.

I don't mind sound as the boxer rumble is music to my ears. Also no emissions testing here in northern AZ.

Recommendations welcome - good condition used is an option as well.

I can make time to drive out and pick up an exhaust which is far more appealing than exchanging funds and waiting and hoping for an item to show up undamaged through the mail - and this is why I am looking for a local transaction.

Wirelessly posted (Treo 600: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 95; PalmSource; Blazer 3.0) 16;160x160)

Someone get this guy a Turbo XS RFL since sound and emissions aren't an issue. They don't call it Real F'in Loud for nothing.

Nope. Not crap. Just laughing at the acronym. It is a really nice exhaust.

Cottonwood is a pretty decent place. You might have to drive to Prescott of Flagstaff for more of a nightlife, but we bought these cars to drive them - and the fact that the trip includes canyon and mountain roads, or some fun highway sprints makes it that much better.

No emissions, and none of the "OMG someone broke into my car!" or "My car was stolen" somewhere in Phoenix happenings up here.

Yeah, I spent a year up at NAU. How many subarus are up there? never saw one while I was there.

Does everyone pretty much goto "Zoomers" ? Might consider opening a bar/club up there.

Yeah, Zoomers is the only somewhat busy sports bar here - or people go to Cliff Castle casino in Camp Verde.

Definately could use some more options here as far as places to go locally.

Oh yeah and Subarus GALORE in Flagstaff. Seems like every 3rd car there is a Legacy or Impreza.

There's a handful of Subarus here in Cottonwood - most Imprezas seem modded, then of course lots of Outback wagons and those Baja things.

Yeah - Old Town is on its way back to being interesting. I've only been here for 3 years..but it seemed DEAD when we first moved here. Now they opened up this 'Tavern Grill" place thats almost always packed and the streets are full of parked cars and people.
