Post Lose shifter. Will kartboy bushings help?

My shifter has a lot of free play in it. when its in gear I can move it around from side to side and up and down.

Would getting kartboy front and rear bushings solve my problem?

not more then an inch all around. I just got my tranny fixed at a tranny shop (lose nut, 5th gear popping back into neutrel), and they told me my shifter was fine. The bushings do make noise sometimes.

I have all the kartboy bushings installed and there is a noticeable difference. There is no play in mine.

I'm going to try the front and rear bushings, see if it helps. Also thinking of getting the kartboy short throw.
