Cool find. One could go pretty crazy if they wanted to spend a few grand on CF parts there.

That is correct. There was a revision to the body every year the JDM BE was around, unlike the USDM body which didn't change.

I have a question about CF panels/hoods, etc.

Are they more dent resistent? If they crack from impact, can the panel be repaired, or does it have to be replaced?

Replaced. They are pretty much impossible to repair from what I have been told by several body shops and I also asked Erebuni before I bought mine, and that was their answer as well.
