Hello, I'm new here, so don't mind my ignorance.
I am intrested in getting a 98+ 2.5RS, but I do not know an extensive amount about them. I have been doing some research on the car, but I am unable to find too much. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello and welcome aboard. If your looking for info on any Impreza, this is the place to be. Your best bet would be to publish your query on the general topic, newbie boards and others. The Canadian forum can provide you information however you'll have a bigger response from the other boards. What got you looking at Subaru's by the way?
P.S. by following different threads you will learn a great deal. I know I did.

for a 98RS you should expect to pay around $17k to 19k or so. i personally wouldn't get a 98RS because they came with the phase 1 ej25 engines which are known to have problems. if you do a search you'll find plenty of stuff on 98RS's.

Thank you Scoobie Newbie. I am trying to soak in as much infromation as I can before I buy one. As for what got me into them, I have always remembered liking them, you could say it was love at first sight for me. Then this summer I got to do a ride along in an autocross in a '00 RS, and my love for them deepend. I was planning on waiting a few years first, and work on another car, but I have decided I am just going for the car I really want.

Impreza kid: Do you have any good site you can recommend so I can read about the engine problems?
