somerset is a good area! i lived there for almost 10 years now!

...just stay away from the new brunswick neighboring side..... it gets little bad over there.. but never heard of stolen car or stolen parts.. any other place is like a regular quiet peaceful neightborhood!

i lived dead smack in the middle of somerset.....fyi

All I can say is that you can be never to safe in any neighborhoods. Just have enough security to be sure.

Good advice.

I have a friend who just moved to Somerset (about 3 minutes from Rutgers) and her apartment complex is nice and I felt ok leaving my car there overnight. But you can never be 100% sure about any area.
