Would a stromung for the 98-99 Legacy GT fit on an older legacy, like my 91? Just wondering cuase i havent gotten an answer back from R&E and i want the stainless steel Stromung single tip. they sound so nice deep and throaty.... ok any info will do im highy interested in this piece

Cool

I have the stromung on my 97. I will try to remember to look on my friends 93 to see if it will work. You may have to take it to a shop and have them do some cutting though.

SPD told me it would fit my '93 only if I had custom work done.

They would probably have to cut off the pipe and do a custom job to make it fit correctly on your car. They come from stromung so all you have to do is unbolt 2 bolts and take out the old muffler, then put the new one on. Easy as pie, but thats another topic.

Here's the body of the e-mail...
"We do not have anything made for the older car. They are now old enough that the good aftermarket units are now out of production, and getting very hard to find. When developing our Stromung series we just could not justify designing a jig for only ten sales per year. I hope you understand.

If you are ever in LA we have a great muffler shop that can make you a system using a Stromung dual tip can. Let me know if that would be possible."

I knew I saved this for a reason. I asked specifically for a dual tip, if it matters.
