So Cal legacy BBQ

Ok I thought this deserved its own thread, I am going to try and set up a BBQ for the legacy guys/gals in so cal or whoever will be in the area on sunday october 21 That is if anyone can make it. It will be at the end of Antonio just past where it crosses Santa Margarita Pkwy. in Rancho Santa Margarita. So let me know if your interested.

I think I'm in for the 21st for a BBQ. That's a Sunday? I think I can swing that no problem. How far driving are you from L.A/Hollywood?

Of course, because of the complete and total failure of TRi to get me my parts :monkey: , my car remains stock except for pedals and two badges that are now premature because I don't have my parts. Ugh.

At least maybe I can ride in a modded Legacy or two to see what my money will get me when I go back and try to buy the parts from somewhere else.

I'll keep an eye out for updates to this thread for more info

hey Monovich sorry about the probs youve have had, you might try irvine subaru or Isr performance (autocaresubaru.com), both are very reliable sources. I think that the trip down from the L.A./Hollywood area should take a little over an hour, if it helps its about 20 minutes past the Y (5 & 405 junction).

sorry guys, can't make it. my car's in the shop cause of a blown head gasket and f@#cked up cylinders (1 and 2).

but, looking towards that silver lining if any, i'm going to use this time to drop in some CAMS. the only question now is do i wait 4-6 weeks and go with mucho excellente Cobb Cams for $899 (i have a DOHC), or have Paeco (no tried and true information) grind out a pair for $420 and a wait time of 3 weeks.

either way, my ride is going nowhere fast for the next few weeks. but, after that...it's a whole different story.

Don't even bother with the 'regular' i-clubbers! The Legacy people are, overall, so much cooler than the std. Impreza owners... Of course there are exceptions (William) but i think i'd rather hang out with the Legacy crowd But you guys/gals need to start showing up at rally-x's and show those cocky Imprezas a thing or two (like Erik did)!
