Ben, the Legacy is resting at Rallispec's shop as we speak. If all goes well, I should have it back by next week sometime. I'll post all the info as soon as I get it back.

Hey,
Here's a update on the downpipe (on a technical standpoint). The stock flange that meets up with the turbo has a single round hole for the pipe. This lines up great for the turbine outlet but not for the wastegate. Our downpipe inlet will be ovalized and is going to open up a good bit more toward the wastegate outlet than stock; requiring us to port the exhaust flange. This accomplishes two things. First the exhaust flange opening will be of a larger area (a ovalized 3" tube) that will afford more flow. Second, the wastegate should flow much better, allowing better boost control and ward off boost creep if higher boost is pursued.

BTW. the stock downpipe seems to be around 60mm diameter (not too bad!). Plus with all the heatshielding, it is about the same size as the 3". This means there is plenty of room.

Andy, I was going to mention something to you guys about the wastegate, but figured it might be too much of a hassle to mess around with, but that's fantastic that you are going to incorporate the wastegate into the downpipe anyway. It's surprising that the stock flange really doesn't allow the exhaust from the wastegate to go anywhere, but what's almost more surprising is that there are some (not so cheap) aftermarket downpipes with the same design.

Also good to know that everything should fit without many problems. Like I said before, if you run into any snags, give me a call or e-mail. I can't wait to finally see this thing!
