Probably not, toluene is used as an additive in normal pump gas. The plastics used in the IAC valve have to be resistent to petrolium-based solvents. As long as I'm posting to this thread I should say I tried all kinds of stuff with my IAC valve, including cleaning it like in this thread several times with different solvents, and in the end had to replace it to fix my idle problems. Still worth a try though in my opinion.
