I'll chime in with my PDX experience as well (sorry if this is long). I bought a bunch of stuff from them all at the same time. The customer service seemed good at the beginning and the prices were certainly good. I got a TurboXS FMIC, FP EVOII 16G, TurboXS uppipe, Perrin short ram intake and a Walbro pump and let them know I would be using modded stock 800cc injectors. Most of my order came very quickly but the turbo took a bit longer due to some delayed parts coming from Japan to FP. No problems so far. I did have to keep calling for the maps since I wanted to have them ready when all the parts were ready to be installed. I wound up getting the turbo before the maps. A couple more calls and e-mails and my maps arrived. Being the overamibitious, adventurous sort I began the install myself. I got everything done and was installing the turbo when I discovered it didn't seem to quite fit right and the exhaust would not line up with the downpipe. At that point I was completely fed up and had the car towed to a very competent local tuner. He told me my uppipe was machined incorrectly so the turbo was sitting all wrong. I had him install a Perrin uppipe rather than wait to return the TurboXS peice. ONce everything was all buttoned up he loaded the PDX map and could barely get the car to run. It really bucked and generally sounded like it was on it's last legs. I had to have him custom tune the car and now it runs great. PDX took back the uppipe with no complaint but did say "We've been having a lot of problems with those" and when I mentioned my map did not work I did not get any offers to fix it, instead I got "Strange. Maybe he sent you the wrong map." I am sure they are competent tuners but I will stick with someone who can tune my car in person from now on.
