The STi ECU is good too... but that's irrelevant.
Nobody said that it wasn't. I agree that there will be issues with the gas using the stock computer, which is programmed for different gas. Which I add, you basically said it wasn't good for in the first place. Maybe I should have said "properly tuned managment" instead of "good".

And J-specs aren't running up to 20 psi. stock.
What the heck does that mean?

Running an older STi engine with lower octane might yeild some huge problems with knock and whatnot.
If the stock computer is used!!! Running an older STi engine does not mean you will have problems with knock. Or do you mean that by not using the stock STi computer it is no longer an STi engine?
