if the system does hold the brakes, then yes, it will always hold for about 2 seconds or so. As I stated before, there are ways around it. Some noobie manual drivers actually like it, but it's an odd feeling for those that are used to the car rolling.
Here's another example: usually if the car is on an incline, the car would roll backwards. And when starting from a stop, not rolling backwards once the brake pedal or handbrake is released usually means the clutch is engaging. So at 1st, I used to release the clutch a bit quicker b/c the car wasnt going backwards, that lead to a few near stall instances.
