Now in reference to the "H6" upgrade, here's where things get a little confusing. If you have any 2000 and up Subaru with rear discs, I am sure of the following things. To upgrade to the 290x10mm H6 rotor you need only to buy the rotors, larger caliper brackets and either remove or bend the rear dust shield(thin sheet metal shield that is attached to the perimeter of the backing plate.) Every thing bolts right up and uses your existing parking brake internals. A sweet and inexpensive upgrade. Part numbers are listed in the thread linked above.
If, as you stated, all 2000+ Legacy's start with 290 x 10 mm Disk's and Single Piston Sliding Calipers what are you upgrading by changing to the "H6" version???
BTW _ I have a set of Part number sheets and they show only one set of numbers for all 2000+ Legacy rear brakes including the H6 Outback.
