Definitely follow the advice above, but since you say the sound is coming from under the car (as opposed to from the engine bay) and if the sound is only apparent at certain RPMS (regardless of which gear you're in) then it could be heatshield or other exhaust compnent rattle. You could recreate this in neutral and have a friend lie under the car to try to pinpoint the noise as you slowly increase throttle.

This would be more of a matallic ting than loose change, but onomatopoeia is a b***h.
