If you want to see big numbers - you can just dyno on a perfect weather conditions day, adjust correction factors in your favor, and make sure you use a high reading dyno.
If you're talking straight-line racing - the only thing that matters is timeslips.. and there is much, much more to timeslips than dyno #'s
Even timeslips dont tell the whole story. Same car different driver can vary almost a full second and 5mph.
