If you're going to switch to an sti tmic, you had better get a scoop/splitter sized to it too. Otherwise, the part of the intercooler that is larger than the seal on your stock splitter will be of no benefit, and can actually act as an "interheater". And don't run without a splitter at all, because incoming air will just go around the intercooler rather than through it. By the time you spend the money on a splitter/scoop, you might as well get a real intercooler upgrade too...

A fuel pump and injectors are a wise decision even for a protune on the stock turbo. So if you'd like to take advantage of the extra flow this compressor wheel provides, you'd better upgrade the pump and injectors too.
