Looking at the pic again, it must be GR specific because the balljoint has a stud with a nut on it. The GH has a ball joint with a cylindrical shaft that slides into a pinch joint (think lower ball joint in the front of a GD but reverse). So the difference is due to the difference in 114.3 vs 100 hubs on the GR vs GH/GE.
Why not let the dealer fix it??
Well it's just a hassle to drop a car off and get a loaner and go back. Plus I don't trust dealers....they'd drain my Extra S and put crap in my diff (though I'm not going to drain the diff anyway...just jack that side up so it can't leak out that side. Plus I'll have the LCA disconnected from the hub when doing the rear shock, so removing the axle will be cake. Plus the seal is like $5.
