I have to completely disagree with pulling the ABS fuse while autocrossing. If you look at the ABS system (factory service manuals) you notice that there are G sensors located around the car to determine the conditions of braking. In a straight line, I agree ABS will outperform a vast majority of drivers. While cornering, ABS in is these cars is nothing short of hazardous. Rather than being able to able the brakes in a controlled fashion as you start, progress, or exit a turn to compensate for extra speed, or off line issues, the ABS will completely eliminate what ever traction you had. Since most of auto-crossing is turning, I find the ABS gets in the way and does not allow for mid-turn corrections.
