Well, perhaps unbearable isn't the best word to describe it. How about frustrating? But yes, I was driving on a highway but the windows weren't down. And I get the same complaint as most people here do. It's always a "tunnel or wind" description when I am talking. So, nevertheless, all the noise/interference is not user error, or phone placement. It's undoubtedly the quality of the mic and/or hardware Subaru used for the BT system.
