ive had mine opened twice now in the oven method and the housings are still as clear as the day i bought it. yes a heat gun works too but requires a person to heat, and a person to separate. the oven method i did by myself twice now. if your careful about not touching the light to anything its not supposed to touch you wont harm it. not saying you should bake your lights 50times, but a few times wont hurt them.
