By the way, a suggestion when doing this is to put your hazards on. That way you can constantly see how your turn signal is working as you are working on it. When I loosened the slack it didn't fix it at first, I also had to physically push the wires back into the bulb harness and then the bulb lit right back up to normal brightness
Thanks for your PM. It helped, but as I described, my wires weren't held by any metal clips, just plastic clips you could easily see.
