This is a sweet restoration. I am curious what did you use for the suspension knuckles and underbody parts? Did you just take the rust off of them and paint them or did you use something like POR 15?
Also for the STi steering wheel would you have been able to use the legacy clockspring if the ribbon hadn't ripped? I know the newer STi's have dual stage airbags, did this require any wiring or is it simply in the airbag ECU that does the staging? I'm looking to do a steering wheel swap and wanted to know what to anticipate.
