Ah, the belt itself. I will check that when I get home later today.

The hoses take a lot of mileage and time to harden to the point of cracking, not 30k miles. These hoses are ready to break they are so hard and brittle.

I spoke with the vendor and he wants pictures, which only tell so much, I mean I bought it based on the pictures, they don't show the oil leaks, cracked/broken timing covers,hole in ic, the actual date of the build,and hoses that are rock solid and need replacing. Not to mention all of the rust and oxidation.

My engine, with 240k, looks years newer than what I got.

I really hope they fix this.

But honestly, I would not buy anything from them again. Or at least not buy from that particular salesman, if I'm spending $4k, I expect, at the very least, someone to listen to me and not talk over me (thats a whole other story.)
I will cut my losses and start over.
Pisses me off, because I knew when I was working with that salesman that I would have problems, just got in a rush and hoped the reviews would hold true.
Jury is still out, I'll let everyone know when things are settled.
