Is 27/36mpg(US) equal to 38/51mpg(Imperial)???? it's simple conversion but I can't get it right.... anyone can help?
I inverted your L/100 km numbers so they were instead 100km/L, then put the numbers you gave (that indicate L of gas used) on the bottom, making 100 km/7.5 L and 100 km/5.5 L, which is traditionally the way we are used to viewing (as a number indicating distance over a number indicating fuel used). Then I converted km to miles and L to gallons (not imperial). I came up with 31.38 mpg and 42.85 mpg, respectively. Somebody should double check these numbers, though.
