The Cobb short shift lever will take care of that since its double adjustable (shift knob height and throw length). You can't go wrong with the Kartboy, but if your finicky like me, the adjustability of the Cobb will keep you happy. I just installed mine today on my 1 week old WRX. Tomorrow is the front/rear bushings. I definitely overtightened the pivot bolt on the lever because its stiffer than stock and the gears are whining!
