Is there anyone else who doesn't think that performing a Used Oil Analysis on the factory fill is very informative? You know the metals and silicon readings are going to be abnormally high. So why bother?
I'm thinking that pulling a sample from the 2nd or maybe even 3rd oil change would be more useful.
Since it's a brand new engine, I think any analysis would be informative. Also comparing different break-in styles.
