I try to do everything cheaper and different than everyone else., and 100% of everything myself (machine work, fabricating, tuning etc.)

This is what I've learned... I've saved major amounts of money being a DIYer... And the learning is priceless... But I'm also guilty of going too cheap, not buying the really good stuff, or using parts that are just too worn out to save money... I've learned that in the end, a good portion of the time- this has bitten me in the ass! Do it right, or do it twice... Sadly that's true more often than I'd like to admit!!
