Then again I just bought a set of used 2004 STi struts & springs and found that even THAT was more than I needed. I recommend starting with the sway bars for handling, preferably adjustable ones. They add enough that you might end up not needing coilovers at all unless you're on the track a lot.
Thank you for the advice, I was in fact planning on the sway bars first so maybe I won't feel the need for those. This is an everyday driver for me so I don't feel the need to go too far with it.
