It will obvuasly need to be rebuilt but i was wondering can i leave the turbo on just to start the car and hear it idle for the first time untill i get the rebuild kit? also i blew air through the oil line to get rid of any metal that could have been in the turbo from the bearing.
yeah you can start it with that turbo on as long as it has no oil shavings and stuff in it. when you make sure of this take your ignition fuse out and crank the car till the oil light goes off to prime the system with oil.
