It reduces the throw, but the bushings will certainly tighten it up.

I'm not really complaining with how it is now, but these would be cheap and somewhat easy mods to do in my garage, and it is tempting to see what it would be like after.

I really don't shift all that aggressively, and don't plan on it even if I tighten up the shifter.

However I will say that it shifts a lot more smoothly with Amsoil in the differential, I used to have occasional difficulty putting it into reverse, now that happens less often, and does not require gymnastics to correct.

Honestly, I won't do a thing until after we calculate our taxes in the spring, I am in the second year of my new business (opened May 2011) and things are booming, which is good, especially in this economy, but that is an issue because I haven't been required to pay estimated taxes, so I am sitting on the cash waiting to see what I am gonna have to lay out in the spring...
