Question Outside temp on dash issue, 122F

2008 Subaru WRX ... 95,000 miles.

This started a few months ago but I've just ignored it. Now I want to fix it.

Issue: The temperature display on the dash (by the clock and mpg) is reading incorrectly. Shows 122F most days and on a cold (30F real temp day) shows 104F. Wondering how I can fix this.

You guys think it is the sensor? Issue with ECU?

I tried reflashing the ECU but that didn't fix it. (I am COBB OTS Stage 2).

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Not sure where to start diagnosing this.
