Thanks, but this was obviously form over function, so it's on the passenger side to offset the rear badging and plate and be less distracting from the driver's side. This pattern is probably on the passenger side of almost every car that has it as a factory option for a fairly common aesthetic opinion, even if most aren't that 'sporty' in any sense. If I ever change styles, I'll probably do front fender striping and that would definitely be drivers side only. Thanks for feeling embarrassed for me, that's very reassuring.
