if your front axle seals are leaking take the axle off the car by taking the nut off. popping the lower ball joint off and then pulling the axle out of the transmission. then put a mark on the circle cover with all the teeth and on the housing. take the locking key off that is held on by the oen bolt then spin the cover off counterclockwise. count the turns out just in case. pull the seal out. get one from the dealter and tap it back in palce with a socket. spin the cover back in to its original location. leaky problem solved!
on a side note i got a few extra avcs harness's made up for sale if anyone needs one for there swap hit me up! lots of ppl on the forums can vouch for the harness's quality and function!
Thanks for the offer on the tuning but I've been doing it for a few years so I'm good there.
Everything I read about the replacement procedure matches what you are saying except I read that the sundial actually rotates out clockwise and back in CCW - is that not right? Where is the locking key you are talking about? I didn't read about that or see one on the tranny.
Also - do you know the part numbers for the new seals and clips? I can't seem to find them.
