Yeah, I really like them too. These were in pretty decent shape, only minor rashing on them.

okay glad you got it figured out. they love timing but make sure you log everything to make sure! you will be surprised how much they take compared to a ej205 or a ej257.[term]=subaru%206%20speed%20axle%20seal&filters[primary]=images
Yeah, they do like timing for sure. I've been working on an E85 tune on a v8 207 and I was so impressed that it gave me the extra kick in the ass to go ahead and get this car. I've got my 2011 STi on E85 and its a blast but I think the 207 on E85 in the lighter chassis might be able to give it a run for the money when its done. The power band on the 207 is just amazing.

I see the key you are talking about, I was wondering how the dial stayed in place. I must not have noticed it. The information I found was here:

Its for an 04 STi tranny which I was thinking was similar to the JDM tranny but I'm just not sure if the seals/clips are the same or not. I guess I can just take it apart now and see what I have in there but I wanted the part numbers because: A. My local Subaru dealership is run by idiots and B. They more than likely don't stock the parts I need and will need to order so I want to order the right stuff.
