Car specs:
stock rear springs
STI front springs (so ~0.8" drop over stock in front)
Eibach adjustable F/R sways
Rear strut on order

The wheel/tire setup won't be ordered until spring but i'd liek to gather info in the mean time. Will 255/40 be too much tire and result in rubbing? Could also run 245 but this will be for autox so i want the tire to properly fit the wheel. I would like to have your guys opinion on what would work best.

Thanks for the input!
I'm guessing you mean the 9's.

Since you mention autox, the big question is what class will you run in - buying new wheels might put you in a class you won't be competitive in.

Honestly just find a 17x8 +45-58 with a 236 or 245, and call it good. You don't need big wheels.
