I think the problem is that Ford in the past couple of years has really had a lot of reliability issues hence their 2nd last reliability ranking. I had to unload my 2012 Mustang because it was a steaming pile of hot garbage. Had to take a loss on a trade as I couldn't sell it privately knowing how many problems it had. I wouldn't touch a new Ford with a 10 foot pole. Something has changed with them over the past couple of years and all their models are plagued with problems. Lots of assembling and manufacturing of parts in China and Mexico.
