No history with the car? get a small notebook and record mileage and what is done to the car. that becomes your maintenance record and when you sell the car adds value.

read your car's manual and decide what service intervals are due. oem sparkplugs change somewhere near that mileage for example. I change my fuel filter every 50k miles.

the more you do to your car the more you learn and save $.
