I don't blame you man. Most of the fun is the build and when everything gets done...it feels like a part of the car experience is missing. While you could have sold the car off whole...I seriously doubt you would have gotten what it is worth and it would have taken forever to find a buyer. The GT-R needs to get the reinvestment for sure. I have been driving several around the past couple weeks from stock 2013 to an insanely modded 2009. That platform has so much potential all the way to a 1,257whp version I rode in that does 60-130mph in 3.7 seconds!
I am honestly to the point that if we can't have a second kid...the Subaru will be up for sale for a GT-R as the fun car. While it doesn't have the same driver input feel the Subaru has...all of that goes out the window when you hit the gas or get on the track. There isn't another car in the world right now that can be that fast and still comfortable to go to the grocery store again. If you ever get a build thread going for that car on other forums...let me know.
