To lift the car with the actual jack, there is a spot in the front and the back. The front is just after the plastic under tray, there is a metal plate that is made to lift the car. Then place your two jack stands at the seam welds on the front just behind the front wheels.
Next jack the rear of the car from the rear differential, make sure to not let the jack touch any part of the cover. If the jack lifts with the cover then you could loosen it and leak fluid. Then place your remaining stands on the seam welds in front of the rear tires.

Remove the actual jack and you should be good. I like to give it a good bump on all the fenders to make sure its steady. I also put 2x4's stacked under the lift points as a failsafe for a jack. They aren't supporting the load, but if it does fall they are there to help. You can never be too safe.
