So I just picked up my 2004 forester xt block and heads from the machine shop, reassembled everything, and I am getting zero vacuum at a very poor idle and I'm unable to rev the motor above about 800 rpm. No cel's. So I'm thinking its a large vacuum leak, (which I've already checked for once), or as the title states, is it possible that the machine shop guy switched the intake cams on accident? I know the cam lobes are the same, but I am curious as to the lobe relation to the alignment pin for the cam gear. Is that the same on both? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
